Tournament Information

Purpose:

The purpose of this event is to give competitors a chance to experience competition in a fun, safe environment. We ask competitors to take care of their opponents so that students can gain competition experience and learn to risk while still feeling safe. All participants, coaches, and parents are expected to come with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. They are also expected to promote understanding and fair play at all times. Coaches, please communicate expectations to all in attendance from your school (ie parents, coaches, and friends). Individuals using disrespectful behaviors and attitudes will be asked to leave.

Pre-Registration is MANDATORY!

In order to provide the best program for our competitors, applications will not be accepted at the door. This will allow us to pre-bracket all matches in advance, which will help tournament day flow smoothly and quickly.

Deadlines:

Early Registration: Closes Sunday August 20th, 2023 at 11:59 pm
Regular Registration: Closes Sunday September 24th, 2023 at 11:59 pm
Late Registration ($20 late fee): Closes Thursday October 5th, 2023 at 11:59 pm

All registrations must be completed online at Kicktoday.com. Simply follow the Wasatch Exhibition Tournament Link on the home page to reach our registration site. Please remember that all registration fees are non-refundable.

Weigh-Ins:

All Sparring and Board Breaking Competitors MUST weigh in the day before or they will be disqualified. This will all tournament day to run smoothly.

Saturday Tournament Venue: Canyon View Junior High School. Address: 655 East 950 North, Orem, UT 84097. Enter through South entranced marked with a sign.

Spectator Fees:

Regular (10 yrs +) $10 ($8 if paid with online registration)
Junior (5-9 yrs) : $5 ($3 if paid with online registration)
4 and under: Free

Creative Poomsae, Creative Weapons, & Demo Team: If you are using music for your performance, please have it on a device that can connect to an AUX cord or email it to BSTEvents139@gmail.com .

Sparring & Board Breaking Weigh-ins*: All sparring and board breaking competitors MUST weigh in Friday night. Poomsae, Weapons, and Demo Team competitors do not need to weigh in.
